According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), geothermal heat pumps are the most energy-efficient, environmentally clean, and cost-effective systems for temperature control. Although, most buildings still use traditional furnaces and air conditioners, geothermal heat pumps are becoming more popular. In recent years, the U.S. Department of Energy along with the EPA have partnered with industry to promote the use of geothermal heat pumps.
Geothermal has been found to be very efficient in heating a building, but in most cases cooling to consumers comfort will not be achieved throughout the summer months, either by design or climate region. To assist and protect the ground loop an Evaporative Fluid Cooling tower should be installed.
The tower will gain energy efficiency and save money. If installed to correct a geothermal hot loop, the evaporative fluid cooling tower placement within the loop is critical.
By recycling, refurbishing the existing equipment will reduce YOUR Carbon Footprint.
Evaporative Fluid Coolers
ThermCo Energy Systems has developed a retrofit application utilizing our Evaporative Fluid Cooling tower that will correct and enhance any geothermal application. The Thermal-Flow patented line of cooling towers (closed circuit and evaporative condensers) are the only units on the market that are light enough to be installed on a typical roof without structural upgrades.
